One of the most critical components for a successful Qstream is effective content. The challenge scenarios you deliver to your teams should be relevant, informative, and easy to understand. The explanations should both reinforce and clarify key messages that are directly tied to the business objectives of the Qstream. In short, quality content leads to high levels of engagement and insightful results.
Creating a Qstream challenge starts with identifying the relevant business goals and success metrics, then selecting the topic areas and take-home messages that will provide senior management with the insights to drive business decisions. The take-home messages serve as the basis for the content of the Qstream.
So where does this content come from? Our clients typically tap into the resources within their own teams. For example, if you’re rolling out a Qstream designed to enhance hire productivity or product launch support then your sales, marketing and product teams will be your primary sources. Content in the form of video, sales presentations, data sheets, eBooks, white papers, and training material are all reusable and great starting points for Qstream content.
The next step is to transform the content into a Qstream challenge. We make it simple for any number of resources within your organization to create, contribute to, and repurpose content. Our Qstream professionals are on hand to offer expert advice, as well as the tools, templates, sample content and best practices to guide you through the content planning, development and writing process to ensure that your Qstream challenge is top-notch.
Introducing the Qstream Content Professional Network
Although great content is all around you, sometimes an extra pair of hands can move things along. That’s where our Certified Qstream Content Professional (QCP) Network comes in. If you require additional authoring support, for example, QCPs can provide content expertise in specialized industries, and create quality content that aligns with the requirements of the Qstream methodology. The QCP Network currently covers a range of industries including pharmaceuticals, technology and financial services.
To become a QCP, Qstream partners complete a comprehensive program covering our best practices and content planning process, starting with how to identify business goals and ending with effective Qstream challenges. After completing the certification, partners are able to:
1. Determine appropriate topic areas and key messages
2. Translate key messages into Qstream challenges
3. Write effective Qstream challenges, including question stem, answer choices and explanation
4. Perform a content review and recommend modifications based on best practices
