One of the most critical components of a successful Qstream is the content, that is the questions, answers and explanations that comprise Qstream challenges. When we engage with customers, particularly those who are deploying Qstream for the first time, we’re frequently asked, “So, where does the content come from?”
The short answer is that we make it simple for any number of resources within your organization to create, contribute to, and repurpose content.
Great Content is All Around You
Because Qstream can be applied to help reinforce knowledge across a number of disciplines – from product and brand messaging, to core sales skills such as objection handling and negotiation – our clients typically tap into a wealth of resources within their own teams. You just need to know where to look.
Typically if you’re rolling out Qstream challenges addressing your own products or sales methodology, then your sales, marketing, product management or training teams will be your primary sources. We find that many customers can easily reuse content created for other primary purposes, such as a new product launch, quarterly sales training, or new sales team on-boarding. Qstream clients are almost never starting from a blank canvas. Existing information sources in the form of product collateral, technical documentation, sales presentations, white papers, videos, and training material are all great starting points for Qstream content.
Expert Services & Support At the Ready
Wondering what question format (true/false, multiple choice, multiple correct) is right for your specific topic? What about timed questions? Qstream also provides a library of best practices guides that can be shared and utilized across your organization to streamline the process.
For a typical 15-20 question Qstream, it usually takes little more than a day to create a solid first draft of questions, answers (including distractors) and explanations. Using your content as a base, our services team then engages with your authors to offer advice and counsel about optimizing your content for the Qstream platform, verify any approvals that may be needed for legal or compliance purposes, and offer suggestions for improvement. Once approved, your content is released to our services team for deployment and rigorous end-user testing using our simple, WYSIWYG editor, a process that can usually be completed within 2-3 days.
No Content? No Resources? No Problem!
When you need that extra set of hands, or require authoring support to develop more specialized content, Qstream’s growing network of partners is there to help. Our content partners can provide both specialized expertise in unique industries, such as pharma or financial services, as well as general support for reinforcement of core selling skills.
